Southeast Short-term Assessment, Intervention and Life Skills (SE-SAILS) (formerly Granite/Tilden House)

The BSCS SE SAILS program is funded by the Department of Mental Health (DMH) for youth receiving DMH services (ages 12-20). This Therapeutic Group Care is an out of home treatment service for youth who are experiencing behavioral health symptoms that require therapeutic interventions which are provided in a 24-hour staffed therapeutic setting.

SE SAILS provides flexible individualized assessment and treatment with the goal of having youth live at home with their families in their communities. The multi-disciplinary team, consisting of psychiatry, occupational therapy, clinical, and direct care staff, work with the family to develop and support a plan for the youth to return home. Family engagement and participation is crucial to supporting youth in returning to their home and community. This service provides short term, planned respite to provide targeted clinical supports and to develop critical life skills so that youth and families can live and grow together.
