Family Stabilization Team (FST)
FST services are provided in a youth and family’s home. It is a time-limited intensive service, meeting multiple times per week, with the goal of helping the family understand and support their child’s behavior in order for the child to live safely in the home. The FST program offers intensive emergency services for families in need of crisis interventions to prevent a psychiatric hospitalization of an individual youth. If a youth has been hospitalized, FST offers assistance upon the discharge to help the youth and family with the transition process of returning home. The FST is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Together with the FST, the family is able to set up a crisis plan, set flexible goals, and get connected to needed services.
This program is funded by some commercial insurances.
