Bay State Community Services recognizes that there are many paths for recovery.
We offer Prevention Programs, Peer Recovery, Peer Recovery Support Centers, Family and Clinical Services to individuals, families, and communities to meet the needs of everyone impacted by substance use disorders.
Our passionate and dedicated staff bring a wealth of lived experience in recovery, clinical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of valuable community resources.
Clinical Services
Counseling
Bay State Community Services is licensed in Massachusetts to provide comprehensive substance abuse and behavioral health disorder services to individuals, youth, and families.
Group Services
Bay State Community Services Group Programming provides you with the opportunity to participate in a clinical group with a Master level clinician and learn and practice recovery strategies, build interpersonal skills, and develop social support networks.
In Home-Therapy
Our staff provide intensive in-home support to help children and their families improve behavior and relationships at home and in the community.
Peer Supports
Recovery Coaching
Our recovery coaches are certified and trained by the Recovery Coach Academy to offer non-clinical peer services through her/his/their lived experience.
FIRST Steps Together
Our Family Recovery Support Specialists, certified in the Recovery Coach Academy (RCA), provide recovery supports and parenting skills to parents of children under age 5, or expecting parents, in a supportive non-judgmental community of recovery.
Prevention in Early Childhood
Part of the IMPACT Quincy Coalition, this working group is a collaborative advisory group of community partners, with an overall goal of increasing protective factors in early childhood.
Recovery Support Navigation / Community Support Program
Our Care Coordinators work directly with families to create individualized care plans for children/youth with emotional and behavioral needs. Family Partners use their lived experience to offer emotional support to caregivers.
MA Young People in Recovery
This statewide group of young people offer recovery support, events, activities, assistance accessing treatment, and the opportunity to connect with young people looking for fellowship.
Peer Recovery Support Centers
A New Way Peer Recovery Center
This Peer Recovery Support Center, located in Quincy, MA, is a free, peer-led, safe space for individuals, families, and loved ones searching for information, peer support and resources for substance use.
Turning Point Peer Recovery Center
This Peer Recovery Support Center, located in Walpole MA, is a free, peer-led, safe space for individuals, families, and loved ones searching for information, peer support and resources for substance use.

IMPACT Quincy
The IMPACT Quincy coalition, dedicated to building healthy communities through equity and collective action, is made up of key partners reflecting the diversity of the communities we serve and delivers a wide range of prevention programs.
Impact Weymouth
Project IMPACT
Project IMPACT is a statewide initiative that aims to prevent overdoses by pledging to partner with likeminded agencies, institutions, and providers to build a network of peer-led harm reduction access and resource sites throughout the Commonwealth.
HEY! Randolph
HEY! Randolph is a coalition in collaboration with the Randolph Health Department that aims to reduce youth substance misuse through effective communication, coordination, collaboration, and action in a culturally relevant way.
