September is Recovery Month

CEO Daurice Cox, PsyD.

HAPPY Recovery Month.

There are hundreds of events this month that focus on breaking the stigma of addiction, valuing those who bring her/his/their lived experience to this work, and, most importantly, recognizing how—when we support one another, share kindness and grace, and treat everyone with dignity and respect—we can make real change.

I encourage everyone to take some time and participate in some of the many events and activities. More than ever, during these challenging times, we need to come together to appreciate, enjoy, and celebrate one another.
