Women’s History Month is especially meaningful at BSCS. As a certified woman-owned nonprofit, with 100% of our leadership team and 76% of our staff identifying as women, we are proud to celebrate the strength, resilience, and contributions of women in our organization and beyond.

This month, we invite you to:

  • Check out our 2024 Annual Review video, highlighting key events and milestones,
  • Learn more about four Community Justice Support Centers featured in our Program Spotlight, and
  • Mark your calendars for a special event—our first annual Theresa’s Walk.

As always, thank you for your support of Bay State Community Services and of our mission to strengthen communities.

BSCS has been privileged to partner with the MA Rehabilitative Justice Systems, including the Office of Community Corrections (OCC) and the Court systems, to provide comprehensive services to those who come to the attention of the legal
system. The mission of the Centers is to ensure public safety by providing comprehensive services to individuals who come to the attention of the Justice System so that positive changes can happen in his/her/their lives.

Our rehabilitative services include an individualized, comprehensive assessment that is used to develop a personalized service plan. Our staff are trained in National Best Practices Treatment and Curriculum and utilize proven clinical and behavioral intervention that directly address the needs of the individuals we serve. Participants have access to adult secondary education, job skills, psychoeducation, job training and numerous clinical supports.
