Bay State Community Services’ residential programs offer critical life and independent living skills to youth ages 12-20 in a therapeutic, residential setting.

Through individualized assessments and support, the programs aim to help youth transition successfully into adulthood, while fostering effective communication and understanding within families.
Collaborating closely with DMH and DCF, the multi-disciplinary team provides 24-hour care, clinical support, and resources to address behavioral health issues and promote family involvement.

Adolescent Residential Homes

Beal Street

The BSCS Beal Street program helps youth (ages 15-20) learn important life skills. It’s a short-term, residential program that gives support to help youth successfully transition into adulthood.

SE-SAILS

(Southeast Short-term Assessment, Intervention and Life Skills )

This DMH funded program provides 24-hour care for youth facing behavioral health challenges. It offers short-term, planned respite and clinical supports to help youth and families who are referred by DMH.

Coastal and Plymouth Emergency Residences

These Emergency Residences are funded by DCF to provide emergency shelter to youth (ages 12-18) who need emergency housing, clinical supports, medical care, educational advocacy, and crisis support.
