CEO Daurice Cox, PsyD.
As the holiday season approaches, we are reminded of how challenging this time of year can be for the families we serve. The prolonged government shutdown, coupled with rising costs for food, housing, and other essentials, have placed an even heavier burden on caregivers striving to provide stability for their children. For many, the holidays bring added pressure to create moments of joy despite financial hardship.
At our three Family Resource Centers, we see firsthand the resilience of these families—and we also see their need. This year, we are committed to making the season brighter through our Holiday Giving Drives, which include toy collections, food support, and other essentials. In addition, our Teens2Teens Giving Drive helps ensure that teens in our four youth residential homes, as well as families connected to our centers, feel cared for and supported.
Your generosity can make a real difference. Whether it’s donating a toy, contributing to a food basket, supporting our teens, or making a secure gift online, every contribution helps bring hope and joy to those who need it most.
As always, thank you for your support of Bay State Community Services and of our mission to strengthen communities.

Can you imagine holidays without presents? And without a special
meal? Not always knowing where you will be resting your head for the night?
The teens we serve can.
