Intensive Recovery Program (IRP)
Provides short-term, focused, supportive, intensive addictions treatment in a therapeutic outpatient setting. BSCS offers this level of care for individuals who are transitioning out of detox/inpatient settings back into their communities, individuals with a chronic relapse pattern and whose symptoms require more intensive outpatient services than weekly individual and/or group treatment, and individuals with dual disorders (substance abuse and mental illness) which require a higher level of outpatient services. The IRP offers group treatment five days per week, 4 hours per day (9:00am to 1:00 pm), with the option of attending a minimum of three days per week to accommodate individual schedules. The curriculum includes assessment, goal-setting, relapse prevention, psycho-education, and dynamic support in a group setting.
