Family Stabilization Team (FST)
The FST consists of two clinicians who come to the home several times a week, with the goal of helping families manage their child's behavior in order for the child to live safely in the home. The FST is an intensive, short-term emergency service for families who need crisis interventions to prevent a psychiatric hospitalization of an individual or family member or to assist with transitioning back home upon discharge. The FST is available seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. With the FST, the family is able to set up a crisis plan, set flexible goals, and receive needed services and referrals.
